6.Breath rate and break rate

Question: I can’t do it at all. I feel suffocated, and I feel uncomfortable.

Is it right to enter the birth rate? Is it to enter the Four Zen Settlements slowly or directly?

Also I feel that the fetal nose and mouth are also in and out of air, but it is very slow. Breathing is initiated by the lower abdomen, not by the chest, right?

Answer: If you have the attachment to breathing , the breathing will never break . (Perseverance is purely conceptual, when you let go of your ideas, you will pass this level.)

However, if you hold your breath now, you have to cut off continuously, which means that you have the ability to enter the four meditations, but you are just obsessed with breathing.

At this time, we must first believe that if we do not breathe during meditation, we will not die, and we must intentionally try not to breathe for a long time (the concept of emptying our breath at the same time). Then there is a convenience. At this time, the heart that focuses on breathing is changed to focus on the void 3 inches above the head. And other breathing stopped again after turning to the focus on the sensations of those at (do not go looking for breathing, will find a breath, it will fall Sichan). If the realm has no physical sensations, it only needs to focus on that pure realm.

 Question: I ca n’t do it completely. I still do n’t understand the method I said. It seems that I continue to work hard on the first three Zens, and gradually come to understand them gradually. I feel that the four Zens are indeed a level, which is much more difficult than when I entered the first Zen.

There is another question, please, my teacher, I feel that the joy and sensation of entering the first three Zens are not as strong as when I first entered them. At that time, I felt that the three Zens were really unparalleled and comfortable. Feelings that don’t care much about such feelings. It may also be that I am not very clear about the number of Zens, or that I have not observed the Zen branch in the middle of the set. If I take a serious look, I can know whether I am the second or third Zen. The question is as high as before, and you will feel that you are still in the first meditation.

Is there something wrong with my situation, or is it true that meditation has been like this for a long time?

A: It is the first time I have tasted anything, and I am particularly impressed. The same is true of meditation. When I first entered, I felt particularly joyful, and after many entrances, I felt not so strong. Later, the blandness was completely sensationless. this is normal. Even afterwards, there was not much difference between the first Zen and the third Zen. Only the four zens are more obvious, because they are truly clean (no movement at all) because they breathe away.

If the four Zens can’t get in, sit for three Zens. Because many people have a process of adapting to the body, sitting in the three Zens for a long time, the body adapts, and the four Zens are easy.

In fact, this also shows that a truth, joy, etc. are contrasted. Is untrue. Therefore, the Dharma says that the so-called happiness is just a little less bitter. In fact, it is still bitter. The so-called suffering is suffering.

 Question: Brother, hello. I want to ask three questions. 1: From the three Zens to the four Zens, you must put your thoughts 3 inches above your head. I tried it once and felt that my feet were floating. I did n’t dare to keep it. I focused my thoughts on people. Before, it was calm after 5 minutes. So I want to know: Does it persist for a long time, and then it naturally stabilizes? 2: After the Four Zens, I really do n’t understand, is it still keeping the mind or watching the scene? 3: Answer this question if you can answer it. You said that for more than a year, you have to cultivate to the end of the imagination. Because I am also at home, if I understand, I can probably make a time plan. Thank you!

Answer: 1. The mention of overhead is just a convenience method. Not necessary. Used to temporarily divert your attachment to breathing. The main point is to relax and not pay too much attention to the top of your head. After the broken breath has stabilized for a few minutes, it can be transferred back to continue to be placed on the human touch.

  1. After the four zens arrive, just stay in the clear and tranquil setting. The repair is done after the fixation is stable.
  2. For more than a year, I will start from nothing. Completely zero basis.
